Art & words

That celebrate the beauty and mystery of creation

And the creative journey.

You ask why I perch on a jade green mountain
I laugh but say nothing
my heart free like a peach blossom
in the flowing stream going by in the depths
in another world not among men.
        - Li Po, poet of old China (701–762)

4am, in my studio

Miles Davis “In A Silent Way”
Painting blues and greens
Patterns
Searching for the patterns
For the harmony that exists here
In the blues and greens
And water running through them.
What this painting needs
Is a big fat raven
Cawing into the morning sun.
Or at least the wild sound of one.
